One of my students told me about this. Researchers in the States are
training honeybees to detect bombs. It's quite incredible, but it
still doesn't seem to solve the problem of the millions of unchecked
items passing through American ports. If you could train the bees to fly through each transport container
and then report back to base, then you could theoretically check any
number of items. Now that would be impressive!
